I love all babies the same, but I can’t help getting more excited for my newborn girl sessions. It’s so much fun to accessorize them and of course I have a lot more girl accessories. So when Miss K arrived for her session and I saw all of that black hair, I was in love. And then when mom undressed her and I saw the chubby baby thighs, I think I might have squeeled. Lots of hair and chubby babies are my favorite!

She was great for our session, although she might already have the “let me sleep” attitude. She gave me that look every time I moved her. I can’t blame her because I would be the same way!

She had the most adorable dimples at her newborn session! We had to work very hard at her 6 month session to try to get her to show them to us and of course she got bored of our antics quite fast! Either way she is a cutie pie!

Can’t wait to see how much she has changed this fall for her 1 year shoot!

I always love newborn photos, but even more when it’s for one of my friends. It’s so fun to share in those exciting first photos of their baby.

Sweet Trey was so fun to photograph. He was one of my babies in my perfect weekend of newborns. The top 3 babies in my most cooperative category. He slept the entire time and was a little dream to work with. I am so excited to get to watch him grow over the first year of his life!

It makes me wonder what was in the water last summer! :) Whatever it was, keep drinking it! I loved having all of these sweet newborns come see me. I had 2 that were born while I was on vacation. I vowed to be technology free that week and was for the most part, only occasional peeks on facebook to see if these sweet babes had been born yet!

Mr. Owen was the first to be born while I was gone, so I got to meet him right when I got back. And oh my, was he sweet and oh so perfect for our session!

Can’t wait to watch you grow over the next year, Owen!
