I love maternity session for the fact that I get to spend a little time with parents during this exciting time in their lives. Whether it be their first baby or their second or third, it’s still an exciting time. They are adding to their sweet family and couldn’t be more excited!

This beautiful momma is expecting her second boy. I can’t wait for the newborn session and to meet Baby E. I’m sure he will be just as cute as his big brother.

Beautiful Momma [Beulah ND Maternity Photographer]

I just adore maternity sessions. I love seeing the excitement in the new parents, the anticipation for their new life! And then it’s even better when they come back with their sweet new love!

This beautiful momma came to see me a week ago. We had discussed her session in November and talked about outdoor “winter” maternity shots. Yay! January will be perfect for that! Yeah, right! Who would have thought that the beginning of January in North Dakota would be snow less and 30-40 degrees out?! Not me! But we still got out for some outdoor shots and they were perfect. These two are going to be the cutest parents. Can’t wait to meet Baby H in March!

Waiting for Baby G… [Hazen Maternity Photographer]

As we speak, my best friend is in labor with her baby girl. It was supposed to be a c-section schedule for this morning but baby girl turned at the last minute. It was supposed to be quick and I would have my picture by 745 am or so she told me. Now I’m impatiently waiting to see a photo of this baby girl. At least it’s only a few more hours until I can be there.

Brittany was the most beautiful pregnant lady I have ever seen. She had this glow to her and an excitement that just radiated. I’m so glad I was able to capture these images for her! Can’t wait for the newborn photos in a few days!

Happy Birthday Baby G! Can’t wait to meet you and spoil you rotten!

One of my favorite things about what I do is seeing the mothers before and after baby. You can see their excitement before, their yearning to hold their new baby. And after you see their unconditional love for the new life they brought into the world. This mamma is no exception. I’m very excited to see her again for the newborn shoot and to meet the sweet new life.
